What is seed tape?

Seed tapes are prepared for us by an outside company.
Our seed is placed on strips of a material similar to facial tissue and stamped so the seed will not be dislodged. The tapes are then cut to 7 1/2' lengths.
The strips are placed in prepared soil in the garden and lightly covered with soil. The soil is kept damp until the seedlings emerge.

The plants are then in nice rows in the garden and well spaced.
