What does thinning mean?

Thinning means to remove the smaller seedings in an overcrowding row to allow the larger seedings to grow.

Thin your seedings to the recommended spacing  on the packet.

To avoid damage to the strong seedlings, it is better to cut rather than pull the weaker seedlings.
