How do I plant seedless watermelon?

Seedless watermelon does not produce pollen, so the packet includes a pollinator seed (a seeded variety) and both types must be planted  in order to get fruit.

  • Plant one pollinator for every two seedless seeds
  • The pollinator will be the larger seed.
  • If you plant in hills plant 2 pollinators and 3 seedless.
  • If you plant in rows use planting method: Pollinator--Seedless--Seedless--Pollinator
  • Mark the pollinator because it will produce seeded fruit.
